In early 2006, Björn Winnergård, Magnus Nygren and Martin Rask created the project that is today known as President Roadkill. As they had already worked with eachother before, it didn´t took long before they found the core of the sound known as PR.
So four months later the first album was completed (Sane For Distortion) and was released by the band on their own.
It recieved great reviews and many companies featured songs from the album on their compilations, Tele2 started to sell "She´s On Cocaine" as a ringtone and the band were interviewed by radiostations and webzines.
PR started to do liveshows in early 2007, and during the year the focus was aimed at liveshows and writing new material.
The liveshows got better and better, and PR got to play at bigger stages.
2008 began and the trio released a "semi-live" album, "Session 001", that added another dimension to the band with a darker and heavier sound. It was a digital-only realease for free, and as "Session 001" was released the previous album was released for free downloading too.
